![]() ![]() This immediately upset me but the agent said that the driver would not negotiate even though I had already signed a contract for the initial amount. So here comes our first plan change, they increased the price by $350, and changed the booking fee from $300 to $400. I confirmed that it would be there by Friday with the ridiculously unintelligent agent I was assigned and he “promised” it would be there by Friday. This isn’t the first time I’ve shipped my car before so I felt like that was a very quick timeline. After reading the good reviews I booked with them and was told my car would be picked up that Tuesday and that my car would be delivered by Thursday or Friday that same week. It wasn’t the most expensive but it also wasn’t the cheapest. They were quick to respond with a quote for my car to be shipped from California to North Carolina and the price was pretty fair. I absolutely would never recommend this company to anyone needing to ship their car. If I was to ever move again he would be who I call. We now have our car in NJ in one piece and the process was so smooth. Every time I needed an update on the vehicle I was responded to within 15 minutes of texting. ![]() The moment I paid our transportation deposit we were assigned a driver within a hr of paying! The driver gave us a date when they would arrive and kept that promise and communicated with me the entire time. Although we paid more than we originally booked for. And he was very transparent about the process! A lot of these companies only book for the business without actually assigning a driver for the “reasonable price” they give. I then connected with JOE with GET IT DONE TRANSPORTATION. Giving us the run around about picking our vehicle up. the next day! Come Friday the original transportation company flaked on us. Not to mentioned my family and I already bought plan tickets to leave April 29th. We scheduled the transport 1 week in advance with a promise date for pick up on Friday April 28, 2023. While 32 weeks pregnant was the most stressful! We thought we had everything figured out when we hired a company (I won’t say the name) to transport our car to our new home in NJ. That’s exactly why Get It Done Transportation’s auto transport services are the top in the industry.HIRE JOE FOR THE JOB!Getting prepared for the move of a lifetime, from AZ to NJ. We love transport cars and engaging with our customers, many who return to us when they need to move again. We don’t ask for deposits, honor our guaranteed quotes and deliver 100% of the time. We are absolutely sold on good service and going the extra mile. A support team you feel confident will be by your side and on your side the entire move. You need a transport company with a proven track record. There’s no doubt you want to choose a reliable auto transport company. In most instances, the driver is the owner/operator and there are even fewer options for recovery or recompense then. They have no recourse to go after the company because the owner, the company and the staff have all disappeared. We have even talked to people who’s car was picked up and never saw it again. Truck operators who make cheap runs will never stay in business. We’ve heard of drivers who ran out of resources and simply parked their transporter, full of cars, on the side of the road and disappeared. If we haven’t terrified you enough, there have been times people have placed their car on carriers never to see them again. If a driver or a company doesn’t understand the economics of moving vehicles, they will go belly up. ![]() How do you avoid this? Get quotes from reputable companies and STAY AWAY from obviously low prices, because in this business, if it sounds too good to be true - IT IS. We’ve heard stories of transporters holding cars hostage, demanding hundreds of dollars more. Or worse, they already have it and say they won’t deliver. Or else? Or else your car won’t be picked up and they keep the deposit. So while they withhold your money, they just insist you pay more for the job - or else. You can refute the charge with your credit card company, but that’s super annoying and takes time to get the funds back. It’s not like you can just call the police. They hold hundreds of YOUR dollars hostage (and who wants to lose money!?!). Because they’ve probably already taken your deposit, they have the upper hand. When they can’t, they come back to YOU, hands out, asking for more money. They intentionally bid low, fingers crossed, hoping they can find someone to move your vehicle for cheap. ![]() The unethical car transport company hooks you with a low price. ![]()
